Dark's Skull

How did I start sculpting?
It began as a hobby during the COVID period. After practicing for a while, I started to see an opportunity to sell my work by taking commission sculpting jobs. Over time, I wanted to create my own original characters alongside the commissioned pieces. I began focusing on my personal projects, joining exhibitions and sculpting competitions to build recognition for my brand.

The foundation of "Dark’s Skull" is built upon three key elements:

1. Passion
   I have always loved animals. I enjoy observing their gestures, movements, and unique forms. That is why animals often appear as a main element in nearly all of my works.

2. Experience
   During the time I worked on commission projects, most of them were dark-themed, inspired by stop motion and Halloween styles. This influence continues to shape my personal art style today.

3. Technique
   My signature is bringing out the full potential of the materials I use. For example, with NARA Light Clay, its smooth texture and fine quality stand out from other brands. I use its lightness to create floating or dynamic forms that break traditional sculpting limitations.

These three elements — passion, experience, and technique — form the core of every piece under Dark’s Skull.
